About Dr. Stephanie Lopez
Dr.Stephanie Lopez is a board-certified periodontist, who is passionate about providing her patients with the highest quality of care. She is a native Floridian and obtained her doctorate in dental medicine from Nova Southern University (NSU) in 2010, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. Lopez completed her specialty in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry along with a Masters in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2013. During her time in residency, Dr. Lopez was the president and founder of the Advanced Periodontics Resident's Club and inducted into the prestigious Order of Arete, the highest honor awarded to graduate students.
Dr. Lopez continues contributing to our understanding of the treatment of periodontitis and of maxillary sinus surgery with her research and publications in these areas. She has authored five publications in prestigious journals and received the Steven Detsch Clinical Research Award in recognition of her work. Dr. Lopez is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Lopez is also passionate about bringing dental care to the most needy and has served on several dental mission trips to Brazil and the Dominican Republic. She is also the proud mother of a beautiful baby boy an avid skier, and a food enthusiast.
