Jorge Centurion, DDS, is a periodontist practicing at Miami Healthy Smiles in Miami, Florida. With more than 35 years of dental experience, Dr. Centurion holds a post-graduate certificate in Periodontology from Boston University.
After receiving his degree from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Centurion furthered his dental education by enrolling in the prestigious Harvard University School of Dentistry, where he received a post-graduate certificate in Implantology.
Dr. Centurion comes to the practice with a unique background. Before relocating back to his hometown, Miami, in 1987, he practiced in both Winchester, Massachusetts and Lausanne, Switzerland. Since his move more than 30 years ago, Dr. Centurion has been a partner at Witkin and Centurion, D.D.S., P.A.
Dr. Centurion has been a visiting professor at the University of Florida School of Dentistry, The Pankey Institute and currently holds a position at The Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education (Community Smiles) where he volunteers his time. Dr. Centurion believes in giving back and therefore volunteers his time in numerous charity organizations and events.
He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. He is an active member in local and national dental societies and associations, and he enjoys taking on leadership roles whenever possible.
In his spare time, Dr. Centurion enjoys painting, reading, adventure travels, skiing, and scuba diving.
